D. L. Hughley's son suffers from Asperger's Syndrome

Hearing about people who deal with disease makes many of us feel emotional, but seeing someone so full of life fighting with Asperger’s Syndrome can be truly painful. D.L Hughley has millions of fans across the globe, and everyone thought that he had everything: he is talented, he has a legion of fans and people who admire him, he has beautiful family and friends and a bright career.

Last year, the famous actor and commentator shared a very important part of his life during an interview. He spoke about the life of one of his children, Kyle, who was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome when he was only a child. He is now 26 old, but his life and the life of his parents have not been easy.

Although Kyle had all the support from his family, he was not able to do the things that most children do. Because he did not interact with others in the same way as others, he was unable to make friends and he needed to follow a very strict schedule every day. He managed to graduate from college and get a job, but the syndrome is still the main thing that rules his life. Any small change can make him feel insecure, so his parents are very careful with every step he takes in his life. Almost in tears, Hughley remembered how emotional it was for him to see his son putting gas in the car - something that we never think about in our day-to-day life.

With all this, the actor and his family still remain united and loving towards each other, and try to make every day better than the last one.
